Rosemary is the founder, and Executive director of Angel’s Center for Children with special Needs, which has exposed Rosemary with practical understanding and experience in implementing Community Based Rehabilitation and Disability specific programs in schools and communities.
Rosemary’s personal mission is to inspire humans to remember and restore our sacred partnership with the more-than-human world.
Rosemary is an EU Human Rights Defender Awardee 2021 Nominee, 2020 community philanthropy in the Rotary Club of Nansana.
Rosemary is the award winner for the 2015 World Down Syndrome day; this is in recognition for the outstanding contribution in enriching the lives of persons with Down syndrome in Uganda.
Rosemary is a Social Development worker with 15 years record of working in local/international NGOs contexts, specifically in the areas of Children, disability and women development projects.
Rosemary have good resource mobilization skills especially USAID, EU and Belgium funded projects, with national and international exposure and clear understanding of the local and international development issues; ability to work with people from different backgrounds and have worked with others as a leader and in a team.
In addition to her environmental and community involvement, Rosemary has excelled in Community Based Rehabilitation Programs, Advocacy and research, and Democratic Development and Human Rights and, in a number of administrative and senior management roles too.
Rosemary holds a Masters of Science in Globalization and Development (M.Sc. Globalization and Development) from Institute of Development Policy and Management, University of Antwerp (IOB-UA) Belgium and, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences (BA. SS) Makerere University, Uganda.
