Caroline Nyangoma (Mukisa) is a seasoned gender specialist, policy advocate, and social entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in governance, partnerships, and inclusive development. She is a passionate champion for women-led climate action and social justice.

With a background in gender studies and partnership brokering, Caroline serves as Executive Director and Gender Auditor at Warm Hearts Foundation, is a Guest Lecturer at Makerere University, and leads the social enterprise Classic Organics. Her work has earned international recognition, including the Katherine Fleming International Award, and she has held board and advisory roles in Uganda and beyond.

Caroline joined Treescape Planet Organization because she believes climate solutions must be inclusive, gender-responsive, and community-driven. Her commitment to empowering women and youth is central to her personal and professional journey.

Outside governance spaces, Caroline is passionate about community organizing, creative advocacy, and mentoring young leaders. She is deeply connected to grassroots movements that promote dignity, peace building, and sustainable livelihoods.

As Vice Board Chairperson, Caroline strengthens Treescape’s ESG focus, gender responsive programming, and partnerships that amplify women and youth in agroforestry and conservation.
